Custom Bottles are only available for users running version 3.11 or higher. To learn more about updating your version please visit this help article.
Custom Bottles let you add spirits to your OnlyDrams collection that don't currently exist in our database. Use this feature for:
Dusty or vintage bottles
Bottles without barcodes
Private or limited releases
Custom blends (e.g., Poor Man's Pappy, Old Forester 1915, etc.)
From Scan
Tap Scan
Scan the bottle's barcode
When no match is found, tap Create Private Bottle
From Search
Tap Search
Enter the bottle name
Tap Add bottle
If results appear but your bottle isn't listed, scroll to the bottom and tap Add bottle
If no results appear, tap Add bottle
Fill out bottle information
After tapping Add bottle you will be taken to a form to fill out all the information required to create a custom bottle.
Required fields
Front label image: Tap the left placeholder to add a front label photo
Back label image: Tap the right placeholder to add a back label photo
Name: Enter the full bottle name as it appears on the label
Distillery: Tap to select the distillery or brand
Category: Select the spirit type (Whiskey, Rum, Tequila, etc.). If the category does not exist for the bottle you are submitting, select Other.
Subcategory: Select the specific type (Bourbon, Rye, Single Malt, etc.). If the subcategory does not exist for the bottle you are submitting, select Other.
Size: Enter the bottle volume in mL (750, 375, 50, 1000, 1750)
Optional fields
UPC: Enter the barcode number. Some bottles may not have a UPC.
Price: Enter the purchase price. Due to the age of some bottles, price may not be known.
Proof: Enter the proof (to convert from ABV: multiply by 2)
If your UPC matches existing bottles
If entering a UPC that already exists, a sheet may be displayed that outlines the bottles in our system that already exist with that barcode number.
Single match
If that bottle matches, you may use and add that already existing bottle to your collection by tapping Add To Collection. Otherwise, you may select Different Bottle and continue with the custom bottle creation.
Multiple matches
Some barcodes may have multiple bottles associated with them. In this case, you may see multiple matches returned for the bottle you're creating.
Select the radio button next to the bottle that matches yours
Tap Add To Collection to add that bottle
Or tap Different Bottle to continue with custom bottle creation
Submit your Custom Bottle
Once the form is filled out with all of the information you have, tap Submit.
After tapping submit, a screen will appear letting you know the submission was successful.
From here your custom bottle has been created. You can use this bottle like any other bottle in your collection. Pick my pour, Pick my blind, and other features also have the ability to randomly select Custom Bottles based on the filter parameters.
Custom Bottles appear with a warning banner: "This product and it's info haven't been verified"
