Updating Spirits in Our System When a Barcode is Not Recognized

In the event that you scan a barcode and our system does not recognize it, you will be immediately prompted with a pop-up on your device. This pop-up requests specific details about the spirit, including its name and the size of the bottle. Once you provide this information, our system receives a notification to add the spirit to our database. Typically, this process is completed within 24 hours, ensuring the spirit is swiftly added to our collection.

Option to Automatically Add Unrecognized Spirits to Your Collection

We offer a convenient feature that allows unrecognized spirits to be automatically added to your collection. This option, however, is not enabled by default for user convenience and privacy. To utilize this feature, you must actively opt-in.

Upon activation of this feature, any spirit you attempt to scan that is not initially recognized by our system will be automatically included in your collection once it is identified and added to our database. This ensures a seamless experience and saves you the effort of manually adding these items later.

Notification of Spirit Addition

Regardless of whether you choose to use the automatic addition feature, you will receive an email notification confirming whether we have successfully located and added the requested spirit to our database. This ensures you are always informed about the status of spirits you have scanned and attempted to add to your collection.
